Overview​

Operational Insights is a dashboard in the OpsWorker portal that provides data-driven visibility into your alert landscape, investigation performance, and the operational impact of automated investigation on your team.

Key Questions Insights Answers​

  • How many alerts are we handling across all clusters?
  • How much time is OpsWorker saving the team?
  • What are the most common issues affecting our infrastructure?
  • Are we improving — are alert volumes going down over time?
  • Where should we focus — which namespaces or services need the most attention?

Dashboard Sections​

Alert Overview​

Total alerts received, broken down by severity, source, and cluster. Shows volume trends over time so you can spot whether the situation is improving or deteriorating.

Investigation Performance​

Number of investigations completed, average completion time, and accuracy ratings from team feedback. Helps you understand how well OpsWorker is performing.

Time Saved​

Estimated engineering hours saved by automating investigations. Based on: number of investigations completed × average manual investigation time.

Cluster Breakdown​

Per-cluster view of alert volumes and investigation counts. Identifies which clusters generate the most operational work.

Filtering​

All dashboard views support filtering by:

  • Time range — Last 24 hours, 7 days, 30 days, or custom
  • Cluster — Specific cluster or all clusters
  • Workspace — Specific workspace or organization-wide
